We’ve never been on the Prinsendam, but maybe you have. In any case, Holland America updates to its “most intimate ship” have certainly tweaked our interest.
And if you’re already booked on a ms Prinsendam cruise this year, you might be interested in knowing what the upgrades are.
One, capacity has been reduced to 835 passengers, to accommodate HAL’s Signature of Excellence program.
Two, there are 21 new staterooms towards the stern of the 8-year-old ship, 15 with balconies.
Three, the pool deck’s bigger.
Four, the Culinary Arts Center, with its state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen, has new furniture…as do some of the public areas.
The Prinsendam, by the way, is currently circumnavigating the Mediterranean and ports east, before heading west across the Atlantic on May 4, to start its summer job in Fort Lauderdale.
It’s the “demonstration kitchen” that got us. Food always does.
That’s it, we’re done.
