The migration of cruise ships for the Alaska season’s itineraries will soon begin. They’ll be migrating from ports around North America, the Pacific and South America and heading to Seattle and Vancouver, the two Alaska cruise home ports.
Do regular cruisers repeat the Alaska runs, or has Alaska become one of those been-there-done-that destinations? Or is the warm weather that Alaska rarely has a bigger part of the attraction of cruising?
Speaking of Alaska, Governor Parnell has asked the cruise lines to drop the current lawsuit regarding the Alaska head tax, and in return he will cut it from $50 to $34.50.
Stay tuned for that decision.
That’s it…we’re done.
