Just a few days ago you may have read here that with Holland America cruising around Australia, Cunard was going to be second in the water in 2012.
Oops, Silversea has slipped into No. 2.
The luxury brand has a 30-day cruise set for January 2011, aboard the Silver Shadow. It will sail counterclockwise, starting in Sydney, and the sights (naturally) include the Great Barrier Reef, along wine the Barossa Valley for the wine and cheese crowd.
Ports of call are: Brisbane, Whitsunday Islands, Willis Island (Great Barrier Reef), Port Douglas, Cooktown, Darwin, Broome, Exmouth, Perth, Albany, Port Lincoln, Adelaide, Geelong, Melbourne and Hobart.
On Australia Day, the ship in will be in Cooktown.
That’s it…we’re done.
