Carnival Cruise Lines is now asking passengers not to lock their suitcases before handing them over to the porters. The question is why?
• Is it because each bag is screened and, if they want to do a more thorough search, they have to break the lock?
• Are they concerned you might be bringing a bottle of liquor on-board?
• Why did they not accompany the request with an explanation regarding the policy?
• Who is libel for the contents of these unlocked bags from curbside until the bags get to the room?
Those are the questions. What’s your opinion?
