Stunning Announcements for Cruisers

You don't want to miss these announcements from cruise lines…

Carnival announced that if any passengers are on a ship that's disabled at sea, for whatever reason, they will be entitled to lifetime passes on all Carnival ships for every member of their families, including in-laws and spouses and ex-spouses. The new policy goes into effect immediately.

Princess Cruises announced that its next new ship, after the Royal Princess and the Regal Princess, will be called The Love Boat and that its honorary captain will be Merrill Stubing (or Gavin MacLeod) and that he will greet passengers every time the ship sails from an American port, and that he will be ordained to marry any couples who wish to be married (no gender asked).

Costa Cruises announced that once Francesco Schettino is cleared of charges stemming from the sinking of the Concordia more than a year ago, he will be named Godfather of the entire Costa fleet, in charge of training all captains and first officers of how to avoid running aground in Italian waters after the sun goes down.

And yes, folks, it is April 1.
