Here's a little cruise ship trivia for you today…
How much would you pay for the following menu from a luxurious cruise ship?

Supreme of Chicken a la Stanley
Sirloin of Beef, Chateau Potatoes

So, what's your answer? Fifty dollars? Seventy-five?
How about $70,283.30…give or take a bottle of wine?
That, folks, is what somebody (or a group of somebodies) paid for the original menu…from the Titanic, at an auction last month.
And here's the funniest part of the whole exercise: If you Google "Titanic menu" you will find a large assortment because there were different menus every day, and different class of passengers, each with its own class of food, and menus for breakfast, "luncheon" and dinner. This particular menu was from April 10, 1912.
It was five days later that the ship sank.
The infatuation never ends.
