Whole New Meaning to 'The Juice'

Everyone loves a deal, and here’s an interesting one. Not just interesting, but unusual, too.

If you drink Tropicana juice by the half-gallon, as Bob does — lots of pulp, please — you may have spotted a website printed on the carton. You’ll also notice a Norwegian Cruise Lines logo. Now that piqued my interest!  If there’s a cruising deal to be found, I’m there.

First stop: tropicana.com.

Naturally, you have to buy Tropicana juice, then register both your name and your purchases on the website. After that, it gets a little more complicated, but not a lot.

The bottom line is this: After purchasing and registering just a few cartons of juice, you may be eligible for a certificate worth between $50 and $300 as an onboard credit when you book a cruise with Norwegian. It seemed like such a great return for OJ that I had to get it verified, and that’s just what one of NCL’s people did.

It appears that the new booking must be made before December 30 this year, and you have to cruise before October 31, 2011. I’m already looking. There are several paragraphs of fine print to wade through, so read carefully. Hey, I’ll do that for up to $300 of onboard cash.

A juicy little return for savvy cruisers!

That’s it, I’m done.
