It pains me to say I think it&#8217;s the best of both worlds. The Liberals needed to go, but I despaired at the idea of a Conservative majority, and its right-wingnut &#8220;moral&#8221; agendae. This, however, will be interesting.<br \/>\nOr so I thought. Until I read this item: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/story\/canada\/national\/2006\/01\/26\/wilkins-harper060126.html\">&#8220;The Canadian government will defend our sovereignty,&#8221; from the words of the Harpinator.<\/a> That&#8217;s right &#8212; let&#8217;s spend $5.3 billion defending something that doesn&#8217;t need to be defended.
