TV stations want a younger demographic, because advertisers believe that&#8217;s where the money is to buy their products. Electorates want younger politicians. Everybody everywhere wants a youthful base, to secure a brighter future, because older people have an expiry date that is generally more imminent.<\/p>\n<p>Cruise companies are the same. They are always looking for ways to get younger people on their ships. If they like it, they&#8217;ll be coming back for decades. The methods are creative \u2014 how many 60-year-olds will you see climbing rock walls on cruise ships, or shooting down water slides that will at least rattle\u00a0their bones?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.carnival.com\/\">Carnival<\/a> is getting creative again.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;fun ships&#8221; probably have a younger demographic than others. Carnival&#8217;s rep as a party line is well-known. Long into the night. But what about the kids?<\/p>\n<p>No problem, says Carnival. With more than half a million kids on Carnival ships this year, there&#8217;s now a late-night children&#8217;s program. It&#8217;s on the Magic now, but will be fleet-wide next month. Of course, there&#8217;s a fee.
