The first leg is a 12-day return trip from Barcelona, to European ports in France, Italy, Croatia and Sicily. The Magic, which is Carnival&#8217;s new ship that&#8217;s scheduled to be launched next summer, leaves the same night it arrives in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barcelona.com\/\">Barcelona<\/a> for its North American home port in Texas \u2014 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.galveston.com\/default.asp\">Galveston<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The second leg, 16 days long, has only four stops. But what a deal \u2014 $69 a night \u2014 for people who want to experience a new ship in its infancy and who want to sail across the Atlantic! It also has four awards from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.piagrows.org\/AwardsPrograms\/awards.htm\">Plantscape Industry Alliance<\/a> awards for its Central Park project, including the prestigious Judges&#8217; Award as the most outstanding overall project in 2010, presented last weekend in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sandiego.gov\/\">San Diego<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.royalcaribbean.com\/home.do\">Royal Caribbean<\/a> flagship&#8217;s attempt to &#8220;bring the best of land to sea&#8221; was designed by a group known as Ambius.<\/p>\n<p>You think the price of doing business with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ambius.com\/\">Ambius<\/a> just went up?<\/p>\n<p>* * *<\/p>\n<p>Did you know that in today&#8217;s modern world of cruising that ships are steered by joysticks? We&#8217;ve come a long way from Atari, haven&#8217;t we?<\/p>\n<p>* * *<\/p>\n<p>A large print ad and billboard campaign by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.celebritycruises.com\/home.do\">Celebrity Cruises<\/a> is urging customers to ask travel agents. Ask what? Now that YOU ask, Celebrity even feeds you the questions. Such as:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Ask who provides the best premium Caribbean cruise vacation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Ask about the largest staff of sommeliers in the Caribbean, or the world.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Ask about a place where your stateroom attendant calls you by name. And your waiter, too.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Ask about activities&#8230;such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\">Apple<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.si.edu\/\">Smithsonian<\/a> Journeys, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bacardi.com\/\">Bacardi<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rosettastone.com\/offer\/ggbt10c?s_kwcid=TC|16819|rosetta%20stone||S||5797589655&amp;gclid=CN6w5s2q_qMCFQhciAodCmPmIA\">Rosetta Stone<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.riedel.com\/\">Riedel Crystal<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Presumably your travel agent has been given the Celebrity answers.
