It\u2019s certainly on our cruising horizon and now it appears there is going to be more availability than ever.<br \/>\nThis month, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollandamerica.com\/main\/Main.action\">Holland America<\/a> announced that in 2011 it will have seven ships in Europe. That comes on the heels of Disney\u2019s plans to stick a toe in European waters this summer, and next year with the <a href=\"http:\/\/disneycruise.disney.go.com\/ships-activities\/ships\/dream\/\">Disney Dream<\/a>.<br \/>\nThere\u2019s another blockbuster in the fleet assembling across the Atlantic. <a href=\"http:\/\/cruisingdoneright.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/NCL-epic.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-245\" title=\"NCL-epic\" src=\"http:\/\/cruisingdoneright.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/NCL-epic-300x188.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"188\" \/><\/a>Norwegian\u2019s biggest ship, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epic.ncl.com\/\">Epic<\/a>, will be based in Europe next year \u2014 and the Epic IS epic, with accommodations for 4,200 passengers.<br \/>\nWith prices reportedly starting at $699 for 7-day cruises, the Epic will sail the Western Mediterranean, docking at these ports: Livorno (Florence, Pisa), Civitavecchia (Rome), Naples and Palma (Majorca).<br \/>\nFun on the Disney Dream in 2011 includes a miniature golf course with Goofy, Donald, etc., as course consultants.
