The subjects may have changed but the principle has not.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Good cooking gets many cruisers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">As the year winds down, there are two more examples to validate that thinking.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">1) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.princess.com\/index.html\">Princess Cruises<\/a> has been hyping the fact that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.curtisstone.com\/\">Chef Curtis Stone<\/a> has opened his own restaurant (<i>SHARE<\/i>) on select ships, such as the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.princess.com\/learn\/ships\/ru\/index.html\">Ruby Princess<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.princess.com\/learn\/ships\/ep\/index.html\">Emerald Princess<\/a>, with more likely to follow. The \u201cheadlines\u201d are \u201cChef Curtis Stone invites you\u2026\u201d and \u201cChef Curtis Stone shares his love with this special ingredient\u2026\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>and \u201cA favorite family recipe from Chef Curtis Stone\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">2) The new Godmother of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oceaniacruises.com\/ships\/sirena\/\">Oceania Sirena<\/a> \u2014 next year \u2014 will be Claudine Pepin, who has the right surname to be in the kitchen creating cuisines-des-spectacles. She is, of course, the daughter of the famous <a href=\"http:\/\/ww2.kqed.org\/jpepinheart\/\">Jacques Pepin<\/a>, who is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oceaniacruises.com\/default.aspx\">Oceania\u2019s<\/a> master chef and <a href=\"http:\/\/cruisingdoneright.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/The-Pepins.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-26457\" src=\"http:\/\/cruisingdoneright.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/The-Pepins.jpg\" alt=\"The Pepins\" width=\"293\" height=\"252\" \/><\/a>whose restaurant is named after him and on two ships, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oceaniacruises.com\/ships\/riviera\/default.aspx\">Riviera<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oceaniacruises.com\/ships\/marina\/inauguralsailings\/default.aspx\">Marina<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">See, it\u2019s all about the food.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">While we wouldn\u2019t know Curtis Stone from Oliver Stone (we would know him from Sharon), it\u2019s clear this Aussie \u201cCelebrity Apprentice\u201d grad has many followers and many exquisite recipes. He also has a restaurant in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beverlyhills.org\/\">Beverly Hills<\/a> called <i>Maude<\/i>, which means that a lot of the beautiful people enjoy his menus. And now a lot of cruisers will, too.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Claudine Pepin, also apparently, has some healthy credentials to go with her healthy food. Her Dad, who turns 80 before Christmas, made it big with Julia Child at his side on PBS and now Claudine\u2019s stepping up in class with him at her side.
