Think about it. Think about how big the ocean is. Right now, searchers are describing what it's like to find an enormous jet airplane in the ocean…they're not trying to find a needle in a haystack, they're trying to find haystacks. A whale, it should be noted, isn't nearly as large as a jet aircraft.<\/p>\n

Yet here comes the Norwegian<\/a> Breakaway<\/a>, sailing into the harbor in New York<\/a> last Sunday and it collides with a 45-foot-long, 45-year-old sei whale. The whale was found floating, and deceased, on Monday.<\/p>\n

Investigators didn't need CSI to determine that COD (cause of death) was blunt-force trauma, despite the fact the whale bore no propellor marks.<\/p>\n
