There, hometown of the cruise line&#39;s offices and the basketball team that belongs to the <a href=\"http:\/\/http:\/\/www.carnival.com\/\">Carnival<\/a> owner, this good corporate citizen is a great corporate citizen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Gerry Arison for President?<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">While Carnival&#39;s ships tour the world, nowhere are they as popular as they are in south Florida. When the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carnival.com\/cms\/fun\/ships\/carnival_breeze\/default.aspx?shipCode=BR\">Carnival Breeze<\/a> made a splash in North America last December, it <a href=\"http:\/\/cruisingdoneright.com\/2013\/04\/friday-38\/tracy-mourning-1-copy\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-17027\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-17027\" height=\"262\" src=\"http:\/\/cruisingdoneright.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Tracy-Mourning-1-copy.jpg\" title=\"Tracy Mourning\" width=\"200\" \/><\/a>was in Miami. Tracy Mourning, wife of ex-basketball star Alonzo, was introduced as the ship&#39;s Godmother and her <em>Honeyshine Girls<\/em> &mdash; the name of the charitable organization she founded 11 years ago &mdash; received $25,000 from Carnival.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Last week, Carnival was at it again.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This time, while Arison&#39;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nba.com\/heat\/\">Miami Heat<\/a> were polishing off Charlotte, 16 local high schoolers were being presented with four-year scholarships from the cruise line.
