You may have seen Kristin Chenoweth at the Academy Awards<\/a> on Sunday night, singing along with Seth McFarlane, the show's host.<\/p>\n

We did not.<\/p>\n

Or you may have seen her on Broadway (Wicked<\/em>), on the big screen (Into Temptation<\/em>) or on TV (Glee<\/em>) sometime over the last decade.<\/p>\n

We did not.<\/p>\n

Though not by design, it seems we've spent a lot of time not seeing Kristin Chenoweth<\/a>. In our world, she is a familiar name but we don't know why. Probably anybody who's had her \"\"<\/a>own TV show (11 episodes) would be, but our impression is she's one of those Hollywood stars who hasn't quite made it big.<\/p>\n

And now maybe she will, as the Godmother of Quantam of the Seas, the Royal Caribbean<\/a> ship that will be launched next year. Just kidding. Godmothers of ships are named because they are famous, not to become famous, of course.<\/p>\n

We also wonder why a woman so talented hasn't jumped to that next level of fame.<\/p>\n

Chenoweth has spent 20 years singing and acting in the three venues of entertainment: stage, TV, motion picture. She won an Emmy (Pushing Daisies<\/em>) and a Tony (You're A Good Man Charlie Brown<\/em>). She won critical claim for playing Glinda in Wicked<\/em>. She has acted in 12 movies and done voiceovers in five more. She has recorded four albums, the last of which reached No. 14 on the U.S. country charts, and has done concert tours. She wrote a book, A Little Bit Wicked: Life, Love, and Faith in Stages.<\/i><\/p>\n

And now she is to be Godmother of Quantum of the Seas.<\/p>\n

Maybe she just has too talents…you know, Quantum-talented.<\/p>\n

And in case you think we're out to lunch in saying she hasn't quite made it big, Royal Caribbean isn't sure if her name is Krist-en or Krist-in.<\/span><\/p>\n
