With all the reports about Europe's economy over the past couple of years, it was only a matter of time before it showed up in cruising.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cruise lines can run from the facts but they can't hide…and not just because their revenue generators weigh thousands of tons and carry around whole towns of people.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Enter Carnival<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Five European cruises have been cancelled for the Carnival Legend<\/a>. Now, when cruise lines take drastic economic steps like these, they don't do it for next week or next month. It's next year, earliest.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Mediterranean cruises were scheduled for a two-month period beginning in late September 2013. So instead of heading for somewhere like Casablanca<\/a>, the Legend will leave England for New York<\/a> on September 25th and go on to spend two months in the Caribbean.<\/span><\/p>\n

For both passengers and cruise lines, w<\/span>hen all is said and done with where to be on a ship, there's still nothing as dependable as a Caribbean cruise, is there?<\/span><\/p>\n
