Take golf, which this couple has been studying for more years than you want to know. Take <a href=\"http:\/\/www.costacruise.com\/B2C\/USA\/Default.htm\">Costa Cruises<\/a>, the company that&#8217;s mixing golf and cruising in a big way.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-1218\" href=\"http:\/\/cruisingdoneright.com\/2010\/05\/costa-cruises-golf-dubai-european-cruises\/cos-delizionsa2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1218\" title=\"COS-Delizionsa2\" src=\"http:\/\/cruisingdoneright.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/COS-Delizionsa2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"152\" \/><\/a>On two ships, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.costacruise.com\/B2C\/USA\/Shopping\/Ships\/DE\/Default.htm\">Costa Deliziosa<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.costacruise.com\/B2C\/USA\/Shopping\/Ships\/LU\/Default.htm\">Costa Luminosa<\/a>, guests can practice with a golf simulator that projects them into a world-class course (think <a href=\"http:\/\/www.PebbleBeach.com\">Pebble Beach<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.standrews.org.uk\/\">St. Andrews<\/a>), take a private lesson and play a course designed by Ernie Els, in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elsclubdubai.com\/\">Dubai<\/a>. No golf withdrawal on the cruise ship here.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not cheap, of course, but it&#8217;s unique\u2026and everybody knows golfers will pay almost anything for something that&#8217;s unique in the game they love.<\/p>\n<p>Costa is testing the waters, so to speak, with golf shore excursions this summer in Norway.
