Think about it. People, generally, go on cruises in search of sunshine and warmth. So now, after decades of naming cruise ships, one of them will be christened Sunshine. Almost simultaneously, another cruise line is about to unveil a new category of ships called…wait for it, Sunshine.<\/p>\n

What took so long? Where have the ad agencies been? Why didn’t this occur to the wise people who run cruise lines? What forest? What trees?<\/p>\n

What better destiny for a cruiser than sunshine? Funny you should mention that, because Carnival’s Destiny<\/a> is soon to become Carnival’s Sunshine, as our colleague Phil Reimer \"\"<\/a>revealed yesterday at Ports and Bows<\/a>. This is not to be confused with Royal Caribbean’s Sunshine, because that’s a brand of ships \u2014 so far known only as Project Sunshine \u2014 that will come alive in 2014 and add a second ship a year later.<\/p>\n

It’s taken for granted this will be the Sunshine Class.<\/p>\n

Now that sanity has prevailed and the connection has been made between passengers and what they’re looking for, what comes next?<\/p>\n

A ship called Warmth? A class called Sand?<\/p>\n
