Just one more first-down pass from Drew Brees.<\/p>\n<p>Including crew, the Oasis and Allure have room to sleep everybody in the Alaskan towns of Nome (pop. 3,653) and Haines (1,749), but somebody in one of those towns would have to <a rel=\"attachment wp-att-10293\" href=\"http:\/\/cruisingdoneright.com\/2011\/11\/10278\/oasis-620-6\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-10293\" title=\"Oasis-620\" src=\"http:\/\/cruisingdoneright.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/Oasis-6202.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"372\" height=\"279\" \/><\/a>learn how to tie the ship to the bollards.<\/p>\n<p>A new paint job takes 158,503 gallons of paint. And you thought painting the house was a big job?<\/p>\n<p>The pipes on one of these babies, if placed end to end, would stretch from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seattle.gov\/\">Seattle<\/a> to the Canadian border (150 miles).<\/p>\n<p>The swimming pools and jacuzzis hold more than five million tons of water. Makes worrying that somebody might have contaminated the water seem rather incidental, doesn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n<p>Almost as much fresh water (4.7 million tons) is consumed on each ship every 24 hours. There&#8217;s no details on how much of it is mixed with alcohol.<\/p>\n<p>The propellers are 20 feet across.<\/p>\n<p>The ice-cube maker is responsible for making 50 tons of ice every day. The one in our fridge isn&#8217;t up for this.<\/p>\n<p>Oasis and Allure both of 2,700 rooms, more than the famous <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nassauparadiseisland.com\/what-to-do\/casinos-and-nightlife\/?gclid=CIW8nca2uqwCFYwaQgodLCZfqA\">Atlantis<\/a>, on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, and twice as many as the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.waldorfastoria.com\/?WT.srch=1&amp;pSearch=true&amp;searchdef=2151979&amp;k_clickid=7b04c9db-ed4e-71a8-2beb-000007135fdd&amp;002=002%3D2151979%26021%3D604658&amp;006=7813273468&amp;007=Search&amp;008=&amp;009=e&amp;011={QueryString}&amp;012=waldorf%20astoria\">Waldorf Astoria<\/a> in New York.
